SYNOPSIS
Hearing to allocate parenting responsibilities
R.C. 3109.12
Regarding the provision in AM_136_1079 (adopted October
22, 2025) specifying when a court must hold a hearing on a
complaint to allocate parenting responsibilities after a father
has established paternity, clarifies that the court must
generally hold the hearing within 30 days after a complaint is
filed and served, rather than after a complaint is filed.
